Born in France, Clyv lived in the Paris area for many years and become, later,  a teacher of Mathematics.

She teachs Mathematik during 40 years in french high schools.

At the same time, however, she animated many artistic workshops with children, in particular.

She  was  very interested in artistic expression, and during her leisure she explored working in different types of art, modelling, pottery , weaving...and  particulary silk painting and watercolors.

She created a lot of lampshade in painted silk for two alsatian potters for several years.

In 1991 she felt that she had found her prefered artistic medium.

Since then, with her warercolors creations , she has had several successful exhibitions in art shows, including Paris at the Naifs et Primitifs show, also in Miami( USA) , Magog ( Canada),Toulon,  Saint-Junien, Verneuil sur Avre,Varenna ( Italia) (Annual Naive art festival)

and group and one woman show,  in different towns and museums especially in Lyon and  in Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Kumamoto, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, , Fukushima, Sapporo, Matsuyama, Nagoya, Kamioka,Sapporo,Sendai, Huis Ten Bosch...)

She exhibits in Japan every two years since 2003, invited by APJ: it means 10 times!!

She exhibits with other artists in pop-up shops in Lyon and Lyon's suburbs.

She creates visuals for the  Christmas cookies tinboxes of Yoku Moku since 2003, via DNP and still now.(for 20 years:  2003 to2023)

She has been exhibiting at the Lyon Creation Market every Sunday morning for 25 years, and still now.

(I like it very much to meet there a lot of different people and tourists, even it's very hard , for my health and back , to brave all kind of weather there!!)

She has created postcards for a few publishing houses:

at first: Cartes d'Art Paris (about 200 designs) during 12 years

Then for EDITOR, the biggest french Postcard  Editor ( about 100 design)

and actually for "La plume d'Or" in France. (about 100 design)

She creates also pictures with this last kaisha, for children games:a lot of  puzzles ( 25, 49, 95 173 and 382 pieces),memories and dominos.

She is also published by APJ, in about 250 art reproductions :giclées, diamond screen , canvas, 3D, for the Japanese market .

Three authentic lithographs of her work are marketed in Finland. Also posters in Alsace by Editions de May in 2003.

At the same time, she participated in the publication in 2004 of a school book for children of around ten years old: "Cookies",

dedicated to learning English where she did the illustrations.

In 2013, she created the text and illustrations of a Franco-Japanese book, published by APJ:" What a nice surprise for Mikado!"

A French-English version will be published in 2013 by the Lyon-based publishing house Bluedot: "Une surprise pour Nicolo?"

Then a second book at Bluedot follows in 2022: "Dandelion dreams of Paris".

Clyv will thus penetrate the world of French children's literature. She regularly autographs these albums in book fairs and bookstores in her region.(Lyon, Valence, Villefranche, St Paul trois chateaux, ...and so on, with Bluedot Editions)

Clyv is married, she has two daughters and three grandchildren  ( 2-7and 10 years old).
